Joe Marsala is the founder and CEO of Thermal Form and Function. He has over 25 years of experience in thermal research, engineering, and business and product management with large and small firms including Allen-Bradley, Thermo Electron, Wakefield Engineering and the Gas Research Institute. He is the holder of 7 patents and has numerous publications. Joe earned his B.S.E. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan. He is a licensed Professional Engineer.
Alex Yatskov is the Vice President of Engineering at Thermal Form and Function. Alex holds a Ph.D. from Moscow Technological University and an M.S. in Engineering Management from Tufts University. He has a broad range of experience in design, manufacturing, research, and academics. Before joining TF&F, Alex was Chief Thermal Engineer for Cray, Inc., where he brought to market high-performance cooling for a number of supercomputer products. Alex holds 22 patents in electronics cooling and packaging in the field. He is a licensed Professional Engineer.
Rob Hannemann is a co-founder and senior advisor of Thermal Form and Funciton and member of the board. He has over 30 years of high-tech research, design, manufacturing, and management experience in both electronic products and fiber-optic communications systems with Corning, Lasertron, and Digital Equipment. Rob holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering from MIT and is a Fellow of the ASME. In addition to his work with TF&F, he is Director of the Gordon Institute at Tufts University and Chairman Ad Interim of the Mechanical Engineering department there.
Mark Haushalter is a board member of Thermal Form and Function. Mark is the Vice President of Engineering of Robinson Fin Machines, a leading developer of quality fin products in the aerospace, automotive, audio and medical fields. Mark holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla, and an MBA from the University of Dayton. He serves on the Board of Directors for The Ohio State University, Lima.
John W. VanBuskirk is a board member of Thermal Form and Function. John is currently Vice President of the Climate & Industrial Controls Group, one of eight business groups of Parker Hannifin Corporation. Parker Hannifin, with annual sales exceeding $10 billion, is the world's leading diversified manufacturer of motion and control technologies and systems. Prior to joining Parker in 2004, John was with Timken and General Electric. John holds a B.S. in engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the Krannert Graduate School at Purdue University.
